Security Services & Operations

  • Q: What type of security guards do you have?

    We provide highly trained, certified, and BSIS-licensed armed and unarmed security guards. Our officers are available for commercial, industrial, and residential properties, as well as mobile vehicle patrol assignments.

  • Q: How do you supervise your guards?

    All guards are required to check in and out with our dispatch team at the start and end of their shift. We also conduct random field supervision checks and, at the client’s request, use Detex tracking systems. Live video monitoring of guards and sites is also available for an additional fee.

  • Q: What type of equipment do your guards carry?

    Each guard is equipped with a duty belt that includes

    • Handcuffs

    • Flashlight

    • Pepper spray

    • Holster (for armed guards)

    Additional site-specific equipment can be provided based on client needs.


  • Q: What type of uniform do your guards wear?

    Our standard uniform includes:

    • Black slacks

    • Grey shirt with a black tie

    • Black jacket

    • Yellow polo shirts in hot weather

    We also offer executive uniforms (with blazers) or plain clothes security, depending on the assignment and client preferences.


  • Q: Is the same guard always assigned to my location?

    We typically rotate guards to ensure each officer is familiar with the property and procedures. However, if you prefer a dedicated guard, we’re happy to assign one upon request.

Licensing, Insurance & Compliance

  • Q: Is American Force Private Security licensed?

    Yes. AFPS is a fully licensed private patrol operator in California, in full compliance with BSIS regulations. Our license number is PPO #16893.

  • Q: What type of insurance does your company carry?

    We carry:

    • $3,000,000 in general liability insurance

    • $1,000,000 in workers’ compensation insurance

    This exceeds the minimum requirements set by the BSIS and helps protect both our clients and our team.


  • Q: How do you screen your guards?

    All guards undergo:

    • DOJ background checks

    • Reference checks

    • Fingerprinting

    • Drug screening

    We maintain strict hiring standards to ensure that only the most qualified individuals represent our company.

  • Q: How long are your contracts?

    We offer flexible service agreements, including:

    • Long-term contracts

    • Short-term contracts

    • Month-to-month service
